it's finally here
I could not be more proud to share this ep. My first love songs, written while living in Ireland. I had a blast recording these in Cork with acclaimed producer Cian Sweeney. These are the first songs I've recorded most of the guitar layers myself. The final track was written on my 25th birthday as a coming-of-age reflection.
she's a troubadour!
I've always been a singer and a writer. I grew up performing with a few bands in Boston and Philadelphia, and later continued to play solo gigs in cafes around Amsterdam. I learned how to play guitar when I lived in New Zealand in 2019.

Lyrics are my first and favorite part I write of all my songs. I have been lucky to record in studios in Boston, Philadelphia, No. Ireland, London, and Cork.

I began my solo career in 2020, when rehearsing as a band wasn't possible anymore. My first release, Suzie Blue, was written when I was in New Zealand, and recorded/released a year later while I lived in Philadelphia.

'a weed in the garden' july 18, 2024
I wrote 'A Weed In The Garden' while living in the Netherlands during the holiday season. The song grapples with the winter blues and homesickness, and frustration at myself and those around me for the helplessness of my situation.
The phrase 'a weed in the garden' refers to the feeling of belonging nowhere. I was abroad long enough for home to feel so far removed, but still a newcomer in a country where I didn't feel settled. May it resonate with those who have drifted far from their roots.
